YakAttack TowNStow Bunkster Kayak Cart

About the YakAttack TowNStow Bunkster Kayak Cart

Made in the USA to the quality standard you expect from YakAttack, the TowNStow Bunkster Kayak Cart is built from UV-resistant injection-molded polymers and anodized aluminum tubing with stainless steel hardware. It is designed for harsh outdoor and marine use and is backed by the YakAttack Built for Life Guarantee.

Fixed upright bunks The Bunkster uses two fixed uprights in a bunk-style layout (bars parallel to the hull), which fits many modern kayak shapes. The uprights slide along the axle for different widths and hull lines, with six bunk positions from 6.25" to 16" wide.

Tie-downs and bunk pads Integrated tie-down points include strap loops in the wheel hubs (great for kayaks wider than the wheelbase) and a center axle point for narrower boats. Tie-downs are designed for 1" flat webbing cam straps (not included) or rope under 5/16" diameter. Four snap-on rubber bunk pads add grip under the hull.

Wheels This is the standard hard-surface version with 3-piece BeadLoc wheels and grippy rubber tread. The airless tires are for hard-packed surfaces (not sand tires). Wheels snap on and come off with a push of a button. A sand-tire option is sold separately.

Storage and components The cart disassembles with no tools: wheels come off via the hub button, and uprights slide off after lifting the orange detent lever. Aside from the center tie-down, parts come off the aluminum axle so you can stow five pieces in most hatches. Dual kickstands support loading from either side and snap out of the way when not in use.
