About the Yak Power Power Plug

The Power Plug lets you easily connect most 12-volt accessories, such as a fish finder, live well pump, or navigation light, to the Yak-Power system. Simply connect the accessory's positive (+) wire to the red wire on the Power Plug and the accessory's ground (-) to the black wire. Butt connectors and heat shrink tubing are included for a secure, weather-resistant connection.

Important: This connector is for connecting accessories to your Yak-Power switcher output and should NOT be used for battery-side power connections.

Compatible with: Power Ports (YP-PMC48S, YP-PMC96S & YP-PMC144S), Power Panel Switching System (YP-RP5R), Power Pack Battery Box (YP-BBK), Battery Terminal Pigtails (YP-BTP12 & YP-BTP96).

Note: Always make sure the Yak-Power plug-and-play connectors are completely pushed together when connecting the system. Yak-Power uses its own custom-tooled, high-tolerance, snug-fitting SAE connectors with larger-gauge real copper wire for a quality, weatherproof, reliable connection. All Yak-Power plug-and-play accessories are designed to work together while maintaining correct battery polarity throughout the system; using other aftermarket connectors or splicing other connectors into the system may cause damage and void your warranty.

Caution: Always check the wire colors on Yak-Power accessory cables so the red (+) wire always connects to the red (+) wire on the connector it plugs into.
